On 1 July 2024, we celebrate the third World Bronchiectasis Day.
In recognition of World Bronchiectasis Day, Breathing Matters and UCLH are running a variety of events throughout June and July.
Jane Walker is organising a Breathing Matters fundraising stall in UCLH atrium on 28 June 2024. If you would like to see Jane’s full range of cards to place an order, please contact her on missjanewalker@hotmail.com
Professor Brown is organising a Bronchiectasis Patient Education Evening to be held at University College London on 23 July 2024. This is a free event and open to patients or carers/families of patients with bronchiectasis. The evening will comprise talks by UCLH experts in bronchiectasis with treatment advice by physiotherapists, along with updates on vaccines and recent research findings. Contact Donna by 12th July 2024, donna.basire@nhs.net, if you are interested in attending.
At this event, Jane Walker will present a fundraising update, including ways of getting involved with fundraising for Breathing Matters and bronchiectasis research.
If you are unable to attend our events, but would like to get involved, please email Jane Walker on missjanewalker@hotmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you to celebrate World Bronchiectasis Day this year.
