We believe research is most effective when guided by those it impacts—patients, caregivers and loved ones.
That’s why we’re inviting you to join our advisory group and help design future studies on interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis and lung infections. Your experiences can make our research more patient-centred and impactful.
Who can participate?
Patients and carers of those with one of the following conditions:
- Any interstitial lung disease, including pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis.
- Lung infection condition, including bronchiectasis, pneumonia or tuberculosis.
This is an advisory role—no research experience is needed – just a willingness to share your experiences and thoughts.
What’s involved?
We need your perspective! We offer a short online chat to explain more about the role. Then, we’ll ask you to:
- Provide input on research questions – sharing what aspects of our research are most important to you.
- Give feedback on study designs – helping us refine research plans so they are practical and considerate of patient needs.
- Share your thoughts on the direction of our research and how we present/share this.
This will be on an adhoc basis when the need arises. We understand that health and caregiving responsibilities come first, so your involvement is flexible.
