A massive thank you to Vaughan Cummins who held an art exhibition in memory of his mum, Hazel Cummins, who sadly passed away in February 2021 following complications with her bronchiectasis.
The exhibition was held at Highfields Church Centre in Cardiff, where Vaughan teaches art to Adult Education students. A large hall was required as there were a lot of paintings and drawings to exhibit (literally hundreds!!).
Despite the cold weather, there was a good turn out on the day. Cakes and coffee were provided, and many people had a Breathing Matters badge/sticker proudly attached to their coats.
Vaughan says, “Your charity is something which is important to me and my family and will be for the future.”.
Vaughan will be holding further exhibitions in the future. Funds raised are donated to Breathing Matters for their research into bronchiectasis.
What a beautiful way to remember Hazel.
