We are honoured that the Kent Police Male Voice Choir have chosen Breathing Matters for their Nominated Charity for 2022/2023.
The choir was formed in March 1978 when some very young (and some not so young) serving police officers and civilian staff members met at police headquarters to form the Kent Police Male Voice Choir. The choir is open to serving and retired police officers, civilian staff and also members of the community, and now totals over 50 singers. They have performed around 500 concerts mainly in Kent, but also around the UK and mainland Europe, taking part in the ‘Last Post’ ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium, three times. Since their inception, they have raised £400,000 for good causes.
