Prudential RideLondon 100 – Guaranteed Places

Are you a keen cyclist and want to aim big?  Do you want to make it worthwhile and cycle for a respiratory charity?  Did you miss out on what could be the last ever ‘Prudential RideLondon’ ballot?

Breathing Matters has guaranteed places at this year’s event on Sunday, 16th August 2020?

RideLondon really is a true gem of an event starting at the iconic Olympic VeloPark in Lee Valley, cycling 100 miles of closed roads past London landmarks and through the stunning Surrey countryside (and hills!) and finishing in champion-style at the Mall outside Buckingham Palace!  It’s the UK’s largest world-class festival of cycling.

You don’t have to be an elite cyclist, however, and can choose a start time based at your level – you just need to be able to finish the course in under 9 hours and be over 18.  More info for riders can be found here

Due to the COVID-19 uncertainty, we have decided that registration is NOW FREE so you will have no hassle if the event is cancelled.

We simply ask that you raise £500 to help find a cure+better treatments for pulmonary fibrosis, COVID-19 and lung infections.  Money raised can be donated after the event.  Groups of up to 5 are welcome. To sign up, email us at breathingmatters@ucl.ac.uk

The deadline for registration is Friday, 1st May 2020.

Share the love

Thank you to everyone who came to Jane Walker’s Valentine’s stall last Friday at UCH to help share the love.

£100 was raised for bronchiectasis research.

Jane sources unique, mostly home made fayre to sell at her charity stalls which you will not find on the high street.

Watch out for Jane’s upcoming stall dates on our events page.
