The Best Christmas Concert Ever … Probably

Choir‘Inspiring’, ‘tear-jerking’, ‘emotional’, ‘Christmassy’. These were the adjectives most used by the audience at our first Charity Christmas Concert featuring the Holst Singers.

The Holst Singers stunned the audience at the Charity Concert in aid of Breathing Matters with their mesmerising performance including works by Tavener and Warlock, and ending in a rousing and joyous performance of “We wish you a Merry Christmas”.  The conductor for the evening was Jeremy Cole.  Breathing Matters would like to thank the Holst Singers and Jeremy Cole so much for their fabulous performance.

Funds raised from the concert goes towards Professor Brown’s research into bronchiectasis.

Breathing Matters would especially like to thank Jane Walker who, along with Donna Basire, tirelessly worked throughout 2014 to make this concert happen. Jane says, “It was an honour to organise this concert. The Holst Singers were amazing, awe inspiring and uplifting.  They performed some gems of Christmas music and the evening for all of us was truly the start of Christmas – a very special beginning to this special, magic, time of the year.

Jane is already planning next year’s concert … so, watch this space!
