A Tribute to Ted Crispin

Ted would have been 77 on 27th June 2012, but sadly passed away on 11th August last year – a victim of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.  Ted was diagnosed in May 2010 and was a patient and uncomplaining sufferer who took great joy in his family.  At Ted’s funeral, we were able to collect nearly £700 to donate to research at UCL into this horrible disease and this year his 10 year old grandson, Ellis, requested that his school have one of their charity collection days in aid of Breathing Matters and they raised a further £170 donation.

We miss him so very much and will be thinking of him more than ever on his birthday.  He was a lovely, caring man to his wife Margo, son Matthew, daughter Susanna, son-in-law Chris, grandson Ellis, granddaughter Amelie and his family and many friends and we all miss him dreadfully and hope and pray that the research will some day soon be able to help others.
